From business complexity to coordinated change

I analyse needs and processes, align stakeholders, structure priorities and lead teams through change. Deep engineering expertise turns those decisions into credible execution.

01 / Profile
SR Swiss made / 2026

I turn ambiguity into structured decisions, aligned projects and change that lasts.

I’m Simon, a Swiss business informatics specialist. My primary practice is business analysis and project leadership: understanding operations, clarifying needs, mapping processes, aligning stakeholders, defining scope and priorities, and creating the conditions for successful delivery.

Software engineering is the supporting strength that makes this profile unusual. It lets me assess feasibility, challenge trade-offs, guide technical teams and—when useful—take a solution through architecture, implementation and production myself.

02 / Company-wide impact

Business outcomes,
not technology for its own sake.

Recruited initially around the public website, my role progressively expanded into an internal business-transformation and project function for the organisation.

The repeated pattern: understand the work → define the need → align priorities → lead delivery → embed the change.

02 / Revenue

Commercial systems

Designed and built the internal CRM used by the sales team and a customer-facing platform for selling digital advertising inventory.

03 / TV production

Broadcast workflows

Live-show question graphics, answer states and episode stories; hockey commentator coordination; programme bibles and production knowledge.

04 / Editorial operations

From submissions to stories

Public local-event submissions, internal moderation and filtering, editorial selection and episode-story preparation in one workflow.

05 / Self-service

Brand tools for everyone

Branded QR-code and social-visual generators replaced specialist templates with consistent, self-service production.

06 / AI & automation

AI embedded in real work

Production integrations for video transcription, content generation and article drafting from transcripts—supported by asynchronous media-processing workflows rather than isolated experiments.

A cross-functional system for projects, work packages, tasks, dependencies, constraints, workload, resource planning, permissions and coordination—turning fragmented operational information into one shared view.

03 / Experience

Analysis.
Leadership.

My career has evolved toward broader ownership: from technical delivery to business analysis, project and team leadership, and organisation-wide transformation.

04 / Capabilities

Lead the change. Understand the technology.

My centre of gravity is the organisation: its objectives, people, processes, priorities and capacity. Technical depth helps me lead delivery with unusually concrete judgment.

Business analysis

Needs elicitation, process analysis, problem decomposition, functional requirements and data/workflow modelling.

Project management

Scope, priorities, risks, deadlines, resources, trade-offs and accountable delivery from initial mandate to outcome.

Team management

Teams up to ten developers, delegation, mentoring, apprentices, performance expectations, feedback and technical standards.

Digital transformation

Identifying opportunities, redesigning work, connecting departments and guiding adoption beyond the software itself.

Solution & UX design

Functional design, information architecture, prototypes, complex interfaces and user-centred decision making.

Supporting advantage

Software engineering

Architecture, Laravel/PHP, Vue/Inertia, APIs, databases, security and tests—depth that strengthens every project decision.
